In April and May 2020, he was strongly linked with a move back to England with English giants Manchester United and Chelsea vying for his services. At the international level, he had represented England at the Under-16, Under-17, and Under-19 levels and was an integral member of the squads that won the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 2017 and finished runner-up at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2017.   • Jadon, growing up, was a good friend of fellow aspiring soccer player Reiss Nelson. The two used to live near each other’s houses and would often play together in youth tournaments. Reiss went on to play for English giants Arsenal and represent England at the youth level.
  • A child prodigy, he started his youth career at the age of just 7 when he joined the English club Watford in 2007. He played for them for nearly 8 years before joining Manchester City in 2015.
