Bieber posted this series of photos and one video from a waterfall trip she took on Instagram. In some of these photos, Bieber is seen using a paddleboard in the water. Paddleboarding works the core. "Core-strength exercises strengthen your core muscles, including your abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many physical activities," says the Mayo Clinic. "You can do core-strength exercises on a carpeted floor or mat. Breathe freely and deeply during each core-strength exercise. Focus on tightening your transversus abdominis, the deepest abdominal muscle and the one you feel contracting when you cough."
Bieber is a big fan of swimming, and she has posted several photos on Instagram of herself enjoying time in the water. She tells Harper's Bazaar that she doesn't love beach days for exercise, and the vitamin D, she also says they help with her skin. "My skin feels the best when I've been in the ocean. Salt water is the best skin healer for me, and I've found that nature can be the most soothing for my sensitive skin."
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bieber revealed that she tried to eat healthier, and specifically adapted a plant-based diet. While she admitted it didn't really work for her, she says that it did help her change her diet. "I tried a plant-based diet for two months during quarantine," she explained to Harper's Bazaar. "I felt great and I had a lot of energy, but it was not for me. I don't eat a strictly plant-based diet and I do still eat meat. I just don't eat a lot of it. I've picked up more fish, greens, and lentils."
Bieber tells Harper's Bazaar that her favorite way to work out is by practicing Pilates. "I used to be a dancer, so I love Pilates because it really elongates and strengthens my muscles. That's probably my favorite workout."
Bieber revealed to Harper's Bazaar that she has just started boxing, and that it's had a big impact on her life. "I also recently started to box for some cardio," she says. "I found that remembering the combinations and learning how to move your body in boxing has been good for mental health."
Bieber is a fan of doing steam room sessions, even when she's at home. "I love to be able to like sweat in a steam and then follow it with cold water, especially during the flu season or if you feel a cold coming on," she explained to Harper's Bazaar. "It's a good stress-reliever too."
Bieber told Us Weekly that she loves to go to hot yoga classes to stay in shape. "I find that when you do any hot class your muscles are more pliable, and you're stretched out easier. You come out dripping in sweat and my face is like a tomato and it's good for your skin! I love it! I'm obsessed and it's addictive."
