Billie Eilish has developed a reputation for herself as not only a pop star icon but also an opponent against internet body-shaming critics. The singer-songwriter has been in the headlines multiple times over the course of her career regarding her style, and how she likes to conceal her body from criticism.

According to the New York Post, the singer came under fire earlier in the week when she posted several images of breasts on her IG. The pop star subsequently lost 100,000 followers on her IG, and since then, she has come out to address the controversy.

One fan wrote on Twitter that Billie’s follower count has decreased from 73 million to around 72.9 million. And while this is hardly a drop in followers, considering her account is massive, Billie addressed what some of her fans were complaining about.

The 19-year-old Grammy award winner shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story in which she mocked all of the people who were upset by her posts. You can see what she had to say in the tweet shown below:

Even though her follower count dropped precipitously in the span of just 24 hours, by Wednesday morning, it had already increased to 73 million. This wouldn’t be the first time Eilish has come under fire for posts related to the female anatomy.

Earlier in the year, Eilish shared a photo of herself wearing a black tank top, and some of her followers apparently weren’t happy with her choice in attire. Billie said she was slut-shamed for her outfit, explaining how it was virtually impossible to please everyone.

Additionally, this past week, Billie responded to some of her fans by threatening to not release a new record if they kept making fun of her hair.

The pop star went on to say that she was going to give her fans a “new era,” and she had a lot of new stuff to come out in the coming months. As it was noted above, Billie has touched on body image issues a lot since she first became a star.
